As of this morning, over 1000 York University students and staff have resumed campus activities, following a fight for job security. Their union, CUPE Local 3903, have been fighting for issues like tenure for contract workers and funding for teaching assistants.

But none of this hindered first convocation ceremonies, which got underway this past Friday for the class of 2018, with 500 students still left to attend their ceremonies.

Speaking of numbers in unresolved and incomplete strike-related matters; there are still nearly 2000 teaching assistants still on the picket line.
