If you read my previous article about Saje, you will know that I had a borderline traumatic experience at their new North Toronto store. You might also remember that I shared my disappointing customer experience with their head office, and was expecting them to get back to me within 24 hours (as promised). I had originally planned to write a little piece about their new store opening, and had a deadline to meet, so wrote an article about my experience before hearing from them.

I do understand that people get busy, so was not offended at their delayed response, but had to adhere to my own article deadline, at the same time. I also planned to provide an update once I did hear back from them, and that is what I am doing now. I heard back from them a week later via email, and out of fairness to them, am posting the content of their reply here:

“Hi Soraya,

Thank you for your interest in Saje, and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us.

We apologize for your experience at the Markham store, however we thank you for taking the time to reach out to us giving us opportunity to make this right for you.

It was a pleasure being able to connect with you on the phone. We truly appreciate your feedback, as this allows us to grow to us as a wellness company. As the Markham store is brand new, the manager had not yet started her position during the time of your visit. The store manager has now started her roll in the store, and I have personally connected with her regarding your experience. We will be taking this very seriously as a training opportunity to align all of our team members with our outrageous customer experience policies.

We would love to send you a little something special as an offer of gratitude for your feedback. Please kindly reply to this email with your full shipping address including your phone number, and I will be happy to arrange this for you.

We look forward to hearing from you to further assist you with this, and have a nice afternoon.”
