I remember the olden days when Spanish retailer Zara set up a fabulous little boutique in the heart of London, England… I would walk down a cobblestone path just to get a peak at their offerings, which always included an amazing array of everyday wear that was just a bit nicer and more refined than what you would find in your everyday retailer. Accessible, Affordable, and worth that extra little investment. Not much has changed except that now, much like Swedish retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M), they have now moved all across North America. And it was only a matter of time before they would make their way to the ever expanding and improving, Scarborough Town Centre!

I was able to check out the unique #Selfie installation set up outside the store, on the mall’s upper level where shoppers, revellers, and Instagrammers alike were invited to snap #Selfies against a maze of three dimensional backdrops. Scarborough’s own, Dani Roche (@daniesque), Trevor Wheatley (@treverferever) and Cosmo Dean (@cchdean) were tasked by #STC with the creation, set up, and implementation of the unique installation. Check it out below…
